Alaska’s Fishing Unlimited Lodge

Port Alsworth, Alaska

United States

Description:
Alaska’s Fishing Unlimited Lodge is a superb, Bristol Bay, fly out fishing lodge whose backyard is the famous Iliamna Trophy Rainbow area. Four airplanes and highly experienced pilot/guides get you to Alaska’s very best fishing in country that is beyond description. The well appointed lodge is described by our well traveled guests as the best they have ever visited.

It has been called,“The Ritz Carlton of the Northland,” and,“The finest that The Fly Shop staff has ever visited.”

The lodge sits on five beautiful wooded acres along the shore of a secluded bay on Lake Clark. Two large cedar lodges flank 9 cabins, two hot tubs and two wood fired saunas. We dine in one lodge and the other lodge is our recreation lodge. It has a pool table, fly-tying station, a bar, videos, a gift shop and plenty of room to sit by the fire.

Because the lodge is on a lake instead of a river, we have very few bugs and you can enjoy your evenings relaxing outdoors. You can play horse shoes, sing around a bon fire, take an invigorating hike, or just relax on one of our decks and soak in the surrounding mountains.

Fishing Unlimited’s location is perhaps the most unique of all the Bristol Bay lodges. We are in the heart of Lake Clark National Park and Preserve near the village of Port Alsworth. So while big fish surround you by day, towering mountains and mind calming beauty surround you by night.

The lodge is 160 miles southwest of Anchorage on the shore of Lake Clark. Our chartered flights from Merrill Field in downtown Anchorage, bring you directly to the lodge on an hour long breathtakingly scenic flight through Lake Clark Pass.

It also allows you the flexibility to choose a day of flight-seeing and adventuring in this incredible wilderness. You can float a remote fishing river for a day; explore wild ocean beaches; fly over caribou herds, bears, Dall sheep, whales, sea lions, and otters; watch brown bears digging for clams or fishing for salmon;… the possibilities are endless.

The flight is about one hour long and takes you through the spectacular Lake Clark Pass. You will fish Friday afternoon and full days Saturday through Thursday. Friday morning our charter will have you back into Anchorage around 12:00 noon. Any airline reservations for your flight home should be for 3:00 p.m. or later to allow for any delays for weather.

THREE AND ONE-HALF DAY STAY; THREE DAY STAY

For those who cannot spend a full seven days with us, we have cut our regular week schedule in half and offer a three and one-half and a three day stay.
