Blue Marlin

Mauritius is a true tropical surprise in the Indian Ocean, about 2400 km south-east off the African continent. It is originally a volcanic island, with a surface of 1875 sq.km and a population of about 1.2 million. Fabulous sandbeaches separate the island from the magnificent coral reefs and its aquatic life hidden under sky blue seas. Behind the reefs the sea descends to a depth of 600 metres and subsequently continues on to 4000 metres. A fisherman's dream!
