Fishing Reports

Lake Michigan Fishing Report 07.23.12

Salmon fishing is going strong in all parts of Lake Michigan right now, Sheboygan is no exception.  We have had good numbers of big salmon the last few days, with our biggest this past week being just shy of 20 pounds. We've been fishing about 2 miles off shore in 70'-120' of water and most of our fish have been coming from 40-80' down on downriggers, wire and magnum dipsys, copper lines, and leadcore lines. The bite has been spoons for the first half hour then switches...

Lake Michigan Fishing Report 06.18.12

Fishing has been GREAT this entire season ! Lots of action, with a good mixed bag of Rainbow trout, Chinook salmon, Coho salmon, and a few Lake trout here and there. We've been having double didget catches as well as a good number of limit catches. Early mornings and late evenings have been best, fishing depths of 60' - 100' of water. Small spoons fished in the top 40' for rainbows and cohos and flasher fly combos on the downriggers and wir...

Lake Michigan Fishing Report 05.21.12

Early season salmon and trout fishing off the Port of Sheboygan has been GREAT !  Some of the best chinook fishing I have seen for May, and the cohos and rainbows are starting to show up in good numbers as well.  We've seen a lot of kings in the 12-15 pound range, and a few upwards of 20 poounds which is a sure sign of some BIG kings for the rest of this summer. A 20 pound chinook in May can easily reach 27 pounds or more by mid-late August. I am offering discounted t...
