Photo, Capt. Charlie w/ the Paul Shinskey party. Caught 27 Trout & 3 Reds and lost more. Front hit at Daybreak, wind went North at 10 to 12 mph. Caught some quality fish early & then they did not feed again till 1pm. We came in at 3pm, weather man wrong again. I almost canceled this trip.

Report 2/15/2012
Took Billy Rioux & his son from El Campo. The weather forecast called for 90% chance of rain & South west wind but we decided to check it out anyways. Thank god we did because the Weatherman was WRONG. Very foggy conditions Southeast winds at 12 to 15 mph. We caught some Quality fish early & messed them up around noon. Most fish 18 to 20 inches. They had a good time and came in at 2pm, with limits of Trout, 3 Reds & 1 3lb Flounder.

Took this group from Austin. Water temp had drop to 54 degrees, conditions perfect, light East winds, clear water & sunshine, bait was even everywhere we went but the fish would not eat. We scratch out a few fish in the end. They missed it by one day...
