Estero Bay gave my crews up some nice reds on topwater as we hunted down the schoolers at low tide early in the morning. Bites remained strong under the bushes on the Eastern Wall, shrimp and pins the top baits. Snook ate well too under the bushes and were susceptible to gold spoons and topwater plugs. Trout bites are still improving but aren’t yet on par for this time of year. Water and air temps are more comfortable in the mornings making fro better times on the water and an increase in fish activity. Snook bite are fair to good on the beaches and in the passes with Blackdrum, reds, trout and big hacks all taking a variety of offerings. There are some juvie tarpon around the pass bridges for early bird fly fisherman and pluggers.
