Apalachicola Fishing 2012 begins!
Submitted on 02/22/2012
Hi Everyone!
Just a little note to say hi, and of course to share a few pictures of our fantastic winter fishing trips!
The weather seems to have shifted to spring like patterns in February- who'd a thunk it?! With that being said "fish read the conditions rather than the calendar" so it could mean an early season for many of the migratory species. The water temperatures are unseasonable high compared to the past several years and as a general rule we always say when the water temperatures reach 65 degrees it's prime time to be here!
So far we are off to a good start with many phone calls and emails reserving dates for spring and summer fishing trips. For all of you guys who ordinary plan a little later in the year, you may want to consider making your fishing plans earlier than usual.
We expect to catch pompano, whiting, white and speckled trout, flounder, redfish and tripletail early this year! Spanish mackerel are already spotted off the beaches, which again is early.
Don’t be the one sitting on the dock waiting for a boat to come in or franticly calling around looking for just any captain on a days notice. Make your fishing arrangements early to insure you will have your preferred captain available to you during your vacation.

If you’re looking for experienced, family friendly, native guides give us a call 850-653-2622 or drop us an email info@BookMeACharter.com
