Fished yesterday with Dylan and his mom for a few hours in the morning. We had an incoming tide so I expected the water to be clear. The water was still a bit silty, but continued to improve as the current pushed fresh green ocean water into the creek. Once the water started to turn that green color the redfish started feeding. We caught several in the 14" to 16" range. Did not get the 20" fish in there like the other day. The redfish bite slowed and then the flounder started feeding. We landed three nice keepers for the dinner table. We wanted to complete our Carolina slams, so we headed to where some trout usually hang out. We started working a grass bank with some artificials and I hooked up with the first trout. Dylan hooked up at the same time I hooked up, but his was a flounder. However, it didn't take long and Dylan hooked up with a nice trout also completing his slam. With that said plenty of action out there on the inshore scene. See ya on the water!
