Estero Bay had a nice redfish bite all along the Eastern Wall on the early morning incoming tides. My crews got their lunch meats and were able to sort through a nice mess of mi-slot spotails, good stuff. There are snook on the bars at Rocky Bay that ate cutbait, shrimp and jerkbaits. Baby tarpon are in the feeder creeks and rivers leading into the bay, kayakers scored up the Estero with shiners and plugs. Trout action remained slow in the warm waters of the central bay. The passes had baby tarpon around the bridges at first light and big black drum feeding on shrimp and cutbait. Tides should improve by the weekend with more reasonable start times and a longer bite window. Hang in there guys.
