Fort Lauderdale Fishing Charters in January are much the same as December. Only the sail fish bite just keeps getting better and better. There was a record setting bite just north of us in the Palm Beach area and we are just waiting our turn as the fish push south to Fort Lauderdale for awaiting anglers. Kite fishing is still hands down the best way to entice these acrobatic spindle beaks. Light tackle makes for the ultimate show allowing the sail fish to express its raw blistering powerful runs interupted with moments of insane A#$ over tea kettle jumps! FT Lauderdale Charter Fishing presents you with a true opportunity to catch one of the greatest gamefish to swim the Atlantic Ocean. Wahoos have continued to make a strong showing as well and as one of the tastiest fish around and one of the hardest fighters, they are a welcomed addition. Medium sized blackfin tunas are prowling the depths as well just outside the reef in 200-400 ft of water and keep us entertained between wahoo bites. You cant go wrong fishing this month and the weather has been beautiful!
