Fish Fort Lauderdale with Capt. Mike 954.522.4773

Jan 14 Barbara, Myra, Mark, Noah and Steve fished Fort lauderdale with us this morning for a good pick on some nice king mackeral. The afternoon trip brought Dick, Dave and Bob from Boston joined us looking for some Fort Lauderedale sailfish action. We popped the kites up and put the gogs out and got an insta bite on two big bomber bonita. We thought we were looking at the start of a great afternoon of fishing unfortunately those were our only bites and fish for the afternoon. We kite fished most of the trip, then tried some drops on the wrecks to no avail and even went on the troll. Tough day on the rip.
Jan 18 Bobby and Brian from Atlantic City joined us for some fishing while on their expidition to drink the most beer humanly possible. We caught some blue runners and tinker mackeral at an anchored ship and we pulled Bobby out of the livewell. We did some trolling and caught some nice kings. We also caught a nice amberjack.
On the 21 Adam and Terry joined us for some kite fishing for sailfish and sharks. After awhile doing this with no bites we finally got a huge shark bite on the bottom rod. Adam jumped in the chair and fought the beast for close to 45 minutes before the hooks pulled. Tough break Adam. On the waqy in we pitch baited a nice trophy dolphin that Adam subdued in perfect form.
Jan 22 Al, Leonard, Dennis, Damon, Richard and Devin from Wisconsin were fortunate enough to have a good day of fishing this month. January is usually a great month for sailfish but its been reaqlly slow and dissapoiunting. Big leonard jumped in the chair for his turn and caught a beautiful wahoo, while everyone else took their turn on some kingfish. We then did some bottom fishing and caught some snappers and tile fish.
