"Grouper Season Kick Off" | OIFC World Cat / Carolina Cat | 03/04/11

know, the title of this makes you think we know something you dont... Truth is, Grouper are still closed until May 1st. That doesn't mean we can plan ahead for it. Capt. Brant has put together a Grouper/Bottom fishing school slated for May 1st. In addition, we are going to offer up the Carolina Cat, the sister boat to the World Cat for a Grouper charter for folks that want to go after them. Unlike the usual charter system we have in place for "private" parties, we are putting together a group of anglers that just want to go fishing. The price will be a per person price of $166.67 each(assuming 6 sign up). If only 4 sign up, the price will be $250.00 per person. Also Capt. Brant still has some spaces open aboard the World Cat for the Grouper/Bottom School if you want a little more in depth/hands on experience. The cost for the Grouper/Bottom school is $350 per person. Its been a long cold winter, why not start out the season with some delicious eating fish and an opportunity to get to know some folks that share a common interest that may become future crew aboard your boat. Stay tuned for info on these trips. We will be keeping a close eye on the weather and as it permits, we will start offering some of these trips. Again, a great way to build your network of fishermen but also a great opportunity to learn from the folks that are on the water all the time. Upcoming trips will most likely be, Gulf Stream jigging and trolling... Now is the time to go after Blackfin's and Monster Wahoo. Not to mention Cobia, Popano, Grouper(release) and Mutton Snapper's...
