Steve and Jim finally got on the water with me today. We tried to battle the rain on Tuesday, but the electricity was just too much. We rescheduled for today. The current was ripping. wind blowing, and water stirred up from both forces. Again, the conditions pushed us to alternative plans. I really wanted to get out on the beach and nearshore wrecks to find flounder and the big reds. The ocean wasn't going to allow that today. We ended up hitting the docks landing 12 reds, 3 grouper, and monster toadfish! The bite seems to have slowed a bit with the water temperatures rising near 80 degrees again. An approaching cold front should change these conditions and get the fish biting again early next week. Thanks for fishing with us! See ya on the water!
