Raritan Bay Fishing Report 04.13.12
The bass are in. Today we had aboard the Bob Prinz charter with his son from California, Dylan. We had tough conditions with the wind against the tide, but Dylan landed striped bass to a high of 30". This was all in a half day trip. Many more striper hits were missed and not landed. No bluefish yet, but I know thaey are coming.
This weekend , Saturday and Sunday, the 14th. and the 15th. are supposed to be outstanding beautiful weather. 70 to 75 degrees with bountiful sunshine and light winds out of the west/ sw.
So both these prime weekend days are open to charter. Who wants to go?? You can't get better weather than this in April.
THE NEXT OPEN BOAT TRIP WILL BE TUESDAY, the 17th. They are predicting a high temp of almost 80 degrees. Light winds and it is time for the stripers to really turn on. Full day, 7am to 2pm. Chumming and fishing with clams all day. Everything included as usual.Fare is $100.00 per angler. Please call to reserve your spot. 908-472-2684.
