Lake Erie / Mild Winter / No Ice

February, generally means ice fishing in our area. Unforunately, thus far for all the ice fishmen and women it just hasn't happen yet.

Our spring like weather and no ice have brought many hardy fisherman to area boat ramps throughout the area.. Last Thursday, I counted 15 trailers parked at the new Huron Boat Ramp in Huron, OH. Can't report on how the fishing was, but it was great seeing so many out trying at this time of the year.

The unseasonable warm winter has made all of us anxious and looking forward to the 2012 fishing season to begin.
