We have endured several inches of rain the last couple of days. Today was our first break in about 36 hours. We just got another shower of rain a few minutes ago. The weather forecast is predicting another 6 inches of rain or more by Thursday evening. Needless to say our water is extremely dirty to say the least. I am always up for a challenge though. I went on a mission to see if I could catch a fish in such nasty water. Good news...the fish are still here and if you hit one in the head he will eat. Actually, I started off using topwater baits this afternoon and had four explosions on the bait, no hook ups though. I went to live mullet on a carolina rig and started catching a few fish. Several redfish just under the slot and several flounder with a few making the mark. Not bad considering the water conditions! See ya on the water!
