"Sailfish tourney" | OIFC 1- 36' | 08/12/10

For all the folks fishing the sailfish tourney this weekend, just a old school thought to go with all the new age techniques out there in the world of sailfishing. Couple years ago when I was testing the "Yee Haw Fish Call", over a period of 5 different fishing trips, I caught a bunch of kings AND 3 sailfish. I ran a spread of 1 Yee Haw and 3 other baits with standard skirts. Of the 3 sailfish I caught, 100% of them were on the Yee Haw. In this instance I was using live bait, so not saying that the Yee Haw is the answer to winning the tourney this weekend, but just passing this on for what it's worth. Good luck to all the teams fishing this weekend. Catching a sailfilsh in our world of fishing is hero material, so go out there and be a hero!
