"Stick Slinger's Sea Bass" | OIFC World Cat / Carolina Cat | 01/02/11

Jim Bowen and John Currin went Sea Bass fishing aboard Jim's 26 ft. Sea Hunt the Stick Slinger. They fished some numbers provided by Capt. Chris Dawson in about 90 ft. deep water. They started out using squid and were hooking up, sometimes 3 at a time. After a bit, they switched to Roscoe Jigs and butterfly jigs. Jim said the Roscoe out fished the butterfly 3 to 1 and increased the size of the fish as well. Jim reported they started fishing at 8 am and had limited by 10 am. He raved about the success he had with the Roscoe Jig.
