Another great trout pond in northern New Hampshire is Akers Pond in Errol. It can sometimes be difficult to fish as old rainbows use the deep water and structure to challenge anglers. Another good area where the stocking schedule is spread out over multiple dates creating consistent opportunity. A new access area created in 2004 has made launching a boat much easier and allows for tons of shoreline fishing.
