Bird Park Quarry

Off Routes 113 and 17 in Kankakee, IL. Bird—A pleasant community park! There are many historical features within the park. For the fisherman, there is a boat launch, river bank fishing and quarry fishing. The park also has a brand new large playground, walking trails, horseshoe pits, and a sledding hill. There is a picnic pavilion and a fieldhouse that can be rented for family gatherings. Many new features are soon to come—we’re in the process of upgrading the park!!
