George Pierce Pond Fishing Report 04.25.13

  LAKE GEORGE IS FULL, 72 DEGREES & STAINED   Bass fishing is great. There are a lot of fish being caught in less than 5 foot of water and many different types of bait are working. If you are fishing in the stained water a 3/8 ounce Strike King spinnerbait with double Colorado blade. In stained to clear water a small crank bait like a ¼ ounce Rat L Trap in the chrome and black or a #5 Shad Rap in sliver and black colors are working very well....

December 14, 2012 LAKE GEORGE IS DOWN 2.27 FEET, 65 DEGREES & STAINED Bass fishing is slow. The shad are holding in the back of the creeks. But the bass are not affected until late in the day. Early, start working shallows with small crank baits and find some bait fish wherever you plan to fish. Early the creek ledges are fair with Carolina rigs and fish structure in 18 to 20 feet deep.
