Lake Delavan

Delavan Lake surface temps are hovering in the high 50's at the surface most days by the end of the day in the mid 60’s. Large mouth and northern pike this past weekend was the best bite fishing slow and covering large areas of water. Delavan & Geneva Lakes: There was good bluegill yet on Geneva Bay with a few reports jigging out of boats for walleyes and trout, crappie and pike at the west end and lake lawn harbor on Delavan; ice was building again though the middle is open from geese. Como has decent pike, 3-6 inches of ice. Turtle has perch on wigglers. Fished Delevan on Monday 7/27 targeting Northern Pike and Bass drifting small to medium sized sucker minnows along weedlines and over mid lake humps. Conditions were a bit tough with high blue skies and wind gusting,  but managed numerous pike and a couple of nice largemouth bass.
