Use spinners sparingly. Crankbaits and anything else thats not weedless is out of the question, but if you feel like pulling weeds off your lure after every cast, be my guest. A texas rig is the way to go, senko worms, unweighted, produces biss bass and big pickerel. Big grubs, crawfish, and salamanders will grab the attention of any passing pickerel. The bass in this lake feed on what they usually see,(worms, fish, and frogs.) Poppers, a sputterbuzz, and a buzzbait tend to bring those active bass to the surface. If you are bank fishing, the beach areas and by the little dam are the best spots to hit. If you happen to have a boat, getting back in all the coves are your best bet. The powerlines overhead give the bass a darker color then other lakes have, but the fight is the same.
