Charleston is located near the middle of South Carolina's coast at the point "where the Ashley and Cooper Rivers meet to form the Atlantic Ocean." Charleston offers such good fishing from April right on through November. In April, May and June we catch mostly tuna, dolphin, wahoo, sailfish, and marlin. As the summer heats up in July and August we still catch tuna, dolphin, and wahoo, but sailfish and king mackerel are more plentiful. From September through November, the fish return as the waters cool. All of the above fish can be caught, but wahoo, tuna, and sailfish are most plentiful.
