Description:
Stanley Park has a long sporting history and offers the best facilities in town including tennis, trampolines, skateboarding, BMX, pitch and putt, trim trail, bowling, basketball, football, rugby and play facilities for children of all ages. The park contains its own Stanley Park Golf Course designed by famous architects Harry Shapland Holt and Dr Alastair Mackenzie, Blackpool Cricket Ground, Athletic Arena and Blackpool Sports Centre. You can also undertake fishing in the lake in designated areas. Charges for fishing in the lake are as follows: £50 per year for adults/ £2 per day for those under 16 / £4 per day per rod. Membership applications may be obtained from the boathouse.Stanley Park is open all year, from dawn till dusk.Visitor Centre opening times are:April to October: Wednesday till Sunday 9.00am - 5.00pm November to March: Saturday & Sunday only, 9.00am - 4.00pm
