BIG FISH ON Lake Lanier Fishing Guides, started by two North Georgia Striper Club members, was formed so that we could share the fun and excitement of catching Silver Bullets, striped bass on Lake Lanier.

We guide primarily on Lake Lanier in North Georgia, though our trophy striper fishing guide trips span thought out Georgia and Tennessee.

We specialize in having FUN, catching stripers and for the trophy hunter we target monster stripers. We're your go to fishing guides for Lake Lanier Fishing and Georgia Fishing.

We have two types of charters, Trophy Trips and Lake Lanier Fishing Fun Trips.

Fun trips are designed for the novice or experienced anglers and children that want to spend an exciting day on Lake Lanier Fishing and catching stripers. These fun trips are ideal for the company outing and parent/child days. Corporate charters of all sizes can be accommodated. Fun trips are traditionally known as Striper Fishing Charters or Striper Fishing Guide Trips.

Trophy trips are designed for the experienced angler who wants to target the fish of a lifetime. Both our fun Lake Lanier Fishing Guide trips and our Trophy StriperFishing Guide trips are custom designed Striper Fishing Charter trips.

The Lake Lanier Fishing Guide Fun Trips and the Trophy trips are priced differently and has its own satisfaction GUARANTEE.

We provide the highest quality tackle, bait and have water and soda on board for all trips. Anglers 16 years of age and older are required to have a valid fishing license.

Mike Maddalena is a full licensed USCG Charter Captain, trained in First Aid/CPR and has been striper fishing Lake Lanier since 1994, and throughout the Southeast since 2002. He is an accomplished tournament angler in both the Lake Lanier based North Georgia Striper Club (NGSC) and the Striped Bass Conservation Coalition. His NGSC accomplishments include many records, 7 angler of the year awards and 4 top six classic wins. Mike was Captain of Team Double Trouble, which fished the SBCC/NSBA Gold Cup Series . Double Trouble won the 2004 GA State Championship and the 2004 Live Release Team of The Year. Team Double Trouble also finished in the top 10 during the 2004-2006 Seasons of the NSBA's Gold Cup professional TEAM of the YEAR series. Capt. Mike also won the 2010 SBCC National Championship, beating the best tournament striped bass fishermen in the country. Captain Ken West is a Licensed U. S. Merchant Marine Officer, trained in First Aid/CPR and has been striper fishing North Georgia lakes and rivers since 1995. He is a FULL TIME guide and a member of the Lanier Striper Club. Ken loves the outdoors and has been fishing and hunting most of his 60+ years. Both Mike and Ken are members of the Lake Lanier Professional Guide Association.
