02/23/2012 San Juan River fishing report

Hello Everyone, The river flow is around 487 cfs as of today. The water is pretty clear with 3-4 foot visibility. Some moss, but not to bad. The upper areas have been fishing fair to good using a #16-18 golden nugget egg, trailed by a #24-26 zebra midge with silver wire wrap. Around 9;30am -10:00 the midges start coming off. San Juan River Early Febuaury Fishing Report

Hello Everyone, The river is flowing at around 500cfs. Water clarity is 3-4 feet. Some chunks of moss as usual. The upper areas have been fishing good with big ugly streamers, black, purple, or olive leeches. Red or orange #20-24 larva's, olive, and gray #20-22 larva's also getting eaten. 5/01/2011 Fishing Report

Hello Everyone,     The river is flowing around 490-500 cfs. The visibility is around 2-3 feet. Lots of moss especially in the afternoon. The upper areas has been fishing good. The early am using #20-22 olive, cream, or gray larva's, to a #24-26 olive /black ribbed pupa or Krystal flash midge. # 24-26 gray bodied black headed pupa's and flash wings. #18-22 Red and orange larva's also working. River Flow raised to 880cfs, ANT FALL anytime now

Hello Everyone,     The B.O.R. raised the water flow to 880cfs Thursday 06/24/10. The water is clear with visibility 4-5'. The fishing has been good with the upper areas fishing good to great. What has been working for me is #24 black mono midge, black krystal flash wing, #22 gray and black midge pupa's, and #22 red larva's.
