Capt. Paradoski has been a professional saltwater fishing guide since 1974 and is very familiar with the Texas Upper Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. He is familiar with East Matagorda and West Matagorda Bays, East and West Galvestion Bays, Trinity Bay, and Christmas Bay. He specializes in wade and boat fishing with artificial lures for trout, redfish, and flounder.

Fishing Report 5-14-2012
Took Jay Allen, James Hayes & Kevin Good. We had 3 limits of Good Trout & 4 Drum. All caught drifting East Bay. Wind NE @ 10mph, with marginal color water & very little Tidal movement. They had a good day. Finished @ 12:15pm.

Fishing Report 5/11 & 5/12
Very erratic weather this week & fishing was not up to par. Wensday 18 Trout, Thursday a few fish (should have waded) wind NE @ 15mph. Corporate groups Friday & Saturday with bad weather early. We caught enough to make the customer's happy. All this on the back side of the Full Moon. Next week things should improve.

Myself & Capt. Bill fished this group from American Alloy Steel. We Drifted East Bay & caught this mess of fish. They had a good time. Later that evening Mr. Moore fried fish & we had a great meal!

Fishing Report 5-4-2012
Took John Avara, Bob Page & Sid Anderson & caught this mess of fish drifting East Bay. Wind was SE @ 12 to 14mph with marginal water clarity. Fish ate the best from 11am to 2:30pm. They had a mess of filets.

Took Kieth Fiegel & son fishing for two days. First day we had this mess of fish wading West Matagorda Bay. All Trout on Topwaters, Reds & a couple of Drum on spoon's. We were wading shallow grass beds. Wind SE @ 10mph.

Wind SE @ 20 to 25 MPH. We Fished Intracoastal caught 2 Reds, 2 Trout & 10 Drum from the boat. Conditions not good. Next day wind went back to SE @ 20 to 25 MPH. Caught 2 Reds & 3 Trout wading West. Cancelled Sunday.

Took the Tom Self Party. 30 good Trout to 25 inches drifting East Matagorda Bay. Went to Shell Island in West Bay, wind South @ 14mph. Water dirtied up from previous 2 days. Turned around and headed to East Bay. Wind switched to East @ 12mph, third stop i found the fish, they ate from 11 to 2pm, we messed them up!

Took David & Diane Klam & Steve Booker. Had 15 Trout to 5lbs & 9 good Reds. We Waded West Bay, Trout on Paddle Tail Bass Assassin's, Red's on Gold Spoon's. Wind SE @ 12 to 15mph. They had 3 Gallon bags of Filets.
Next Day's party wind Gusted to 25mph and got 15 Trout. Saturday wind gusted to 35mph and got 3 Trout. Cancelled Sunday w/predicted Gust up to 40mph. We will hit it again next week!

Took the Nathan Kerr party wading in West Matagorda Bay. Left the doc at 10am & fished till 5:45pm. Wind was straight west @ 15mph, lots of boats out, but not where i wanted to go. Got out & started catching fish. Lots of under size but also caught fish to 25 inches. Caught the better ones on Topwaters & some on Roach Paddle Tails. We released some & kept this mess......not bad for a west wind.

Took the Nick Jones party & caught these quality these quality Trout to 5lbs & a few Reds. Got ran off the water @ 10:45am. by approaching storms. Put these fish on cleaning table, took the photo & it started to rain 3 inches in Matagorda. Wind started SE @ 15mph.

Took these men fishing Saturday & caught this mess of fish & lost about 10 more. Fish ate from 10am until around noon, light winds & water clearing. Best fish 24 inches. Party cancelled for Sunday with conditions improving. We will hit it again next week!

Took David Price, his 11 yr old son from Fort Worth & his Dad. Caught this mess of fish on a Half a day trip. The 11 yrs old son caught this 26" Trout and had a ball! Wind SE @ 10-12 mph, conditions perfect.

Fished East Matagorda bay. Had 15 Quality Trout from 20-25 inches. All caught on Bass Assassin new color Slammin Chicken, it was a grind. Wind SE at 10 to 12mph, were on back side of Full Moon with very little tidal movement, yesterday had no wind & no tidal movement, no good. March is a tough month, fishing can be great one day & tough another, you do the best you can!

March 3, 2012....Caught this mess of fish Friday. Bite was tough, one fish here and there on Roach Paddle Tail Bass Assassin's. Weather perfect, waters clear, light East and South winds, fish are probably going to eat when when the cold front hits. Customers had a great time....

Took Milton & Dilon Schopper & Mike Cantu, who was visiting them from New York. We Messed them up, wind was SE 12 to 14mph, foggy early, then released plenty more. Fish did not start feeding till 11am, we finished @ 1pm....weather man wrong again.

Took Matt Garcia & his cousin from El Campo. Wind NE @ 18 to 25 mph. Large fish from 22 to 26 inches, started to eat around 8:30am, scattered misty rain, water clear. Had to come in at 10am because one of them got seasick. They said that they had never seen Trout that big. They had a great time.

Photo, Capt. Charlie w/ the Paul Shinskey party. Caught 27 Trout & 3 Reds and lost more. Front hit at Daybreak, wind went North at 10 to 12 mph. Caught some quality fish early & then they did not feed again till 1pm. We came in at 3pm, weather man wrong again. I almost canceled this trip.
