Capt. Paradoski has been a professional saltwater fishing guide since 1974 and is very familiar with the Texas Upper Coast and the Gulf of Mexico. He is familiar with East Matagorda and West Matagorda Bays, East and West Galvestion Bays, Trinity Bay, and Christmas Bay. He specializes in wade and boat fishing with artificial lures for trout, redfish, and flounder.

Capt. Charlie is renowned for his fishing expertise and he has been the subject of many outdoor and recreation news publications, some of which include Texas Fish & Game, Gulf Coast Connections, Houston Chronicle, and many more.

He has won and placed in numerous Texas Gulf Coast fishing tournaments and most recently is the 2007 Matagorda Guides Cup Tournament winner

Very erratic weather this week & fishing was not up to par. Wensday 18 Trout, Thursday a few fish (should have waded) wind NE @ 15mph. Corporate groups Friday & Saturday with bad weather early. Took the Tom Self Party. 30 good Trout to 25 inches drifting East Matagorda Bay. Went to Shell Island in West Bay, wind South @ 14mph. Water dirtied up from previous 2 days. Turned around and headed to East Bay. Wind switched to East @ 12mph, third stop i found the fish, they ate from 11 to 2pm, we messed them up!  ...

Took David & Diane Klam & Steve Booker. Had 15 Trout to 5lbs & 9 good Reds. We Waded West Bay, Trout on Paddle Tail Bass Assassin's, Red's on Gold Spoon's. Wind SE @ 12 to 15mph. They had 3 Gallon bags of Filets. Next Day's party wind Gusted to 25mph and got 15 Trout. Saturday wind gusted to 35mph and got 3 Trout. Cancelled Sunday w/predicted Gust up to 40mph. Took the Nathan Kerr party wading in West Matagorda Bay. Left the doc at 10am & fished till 5:45pm. Wind was straight west @ 15mph, lots of boats out, but not where i wanted to go. Got out & started catching fish. Lots of under size but also caught fish to 25 inches. Caught the better ones on Topwaters & some on Roach Paddle Tails. We released some & kept this mess......not bad for a west wind.  ...

Report 3/29/2012 Took the Nick Jones party & caught these quality these quality Trout to 5lbs & a few Reds. Got ran off the water @ 10:45am. by approaching storms. Report 3/15/2012   Took David Price, his 11 yr old son from Fort Worth & his Dad. Caught this mess of fish on a Half a day trip. The 11 yrs old son caught this 26" Trout and had a ball! Fished East Matagorda bay. Had 15 Quality Trout from 20-25 inches. All caught on Bass Assassin new color Slammin Chicken, it was a grind. Report 2/27/2012 Took Matt Garcia & his cousin from El Campo. Wind NE @ 18 to 25 mph. Large fish from 22 to 26 inches, started to eat around 8:30am, scattered misty rain, water clear.
