Thank you for visiting my website, My name is Chad Smith.I am owner and operator of Chad Smith Guide Service, I currently Guide on lake Oconee and lake Sinclair for monster catfish.

I have been fishing on lake Oconee for over18 years, My goal to all my clients is that I will give 100% into putting them on either the biggest catfish in the lake or putting them on the most good size for the frying pan catfish in the lake,which ever you prefer.

My MOTTO is: No Fish, No Pay for some reason if you come with me and do not put a fish in the boat, then there will be no charge and you will not have to pay nothing 100% guarantee.

MY EQUIPTMENT
When you come fishing with me,You will ride in comfort on a 2000 20ft SMOKERCRAFT pontoon powered by a brand new Mercury outboard, My boat comes equipped with the latest in electronics such as a Lowrance LMS GPS system, Eagle 480 depthfinder-chartplotter,A stereo with surround sound so we can jam to your favorite song or listen to the game as we ride from spot to spot, I only use the best in fishing equiptment also with Abu Garcia 5500 reels, My rods are anglers choice 7ft medium heavy fishing rods that can handle those vicious head shakes of a big catfish.

I SUPPLY
I supply the fishing boat, fishing tackle including fishing rods, weights,hooks,and fresh bait.I also include bottled water and ice for drinks and for the days catch if you decide to take them home for the frying pan.

WHAT TO BRING
All you have to bring is a cooler for your fish if you decide to take them home, your favorite soft drinks, snacks, sunglasses, a camera so you can take pictures of the fish of a lifetime after you catch it, sunscreen, a current Georgia fishing license and rain gear incase we have an unexpected rain.

My name is Chad Smith and I run Chad Smith Guide Service on beautiful Lake Oconee and Lake Sinclair which i run full time and year around. I live in walton co. where i was born and raised and now raise 2 beautiful kids and married the love of my life, My wifes name is Nora and we have been married almost 3 years and were high school sweethearts and we have now been together almost 8 years, our 4 year old son is named Landen which is just like me and our 1 year old daughter is named Kyleigh and she is a beautiful redhead like her mother.I have been fishing Lake Oconee since i was around 6 years old, I started going with my dad whom taught me how to fish for those frisky cats. I started fishing Lake Sinclair 8 years ago and have grown to love the great fishery that Lake Sinclair has come to be. I still consider Lake Oconee to be my home lake because that is where i cut my catfishing teeth and bass fishing teeth.I started targeting those Big catfish everyone hears about on Oconee and Sinclair about 7 years ago and now i have mastered the art of catching those elusive monster catfish these lakes have to offer with well over 200 flatheads and blue catfish over 20 lbs with numerous catfish over 30lbs caught out of my boat.Everyone says you have got to love what you do for it to be your job, Well I love my job! I love seeing the sun rise and sunsets on the water, I also love seeing a kid catch his/her biggest fish of there life and talking about it for days, that makes my day! My other hobbies include bass fishing, bow hunting and shooting in 3D archery tournaments, I am a proud member to the Christian Bowhunters Association of Georgia(CBG) I am also a member of Georgia Outdoors News(GON)
