Skip Dot Sportsfishing Charters

Skip Dot Fishing Charters provides a quality fishing experience for individuals, families and groups. We dock out of Sea Legs Marina in Hollywood, Florida, but we also offer private charters to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and the Florida Keys.

Our specialty is offshore trolling for kingfish, mackerel, dolphin, wahoo, sailfish, marlin and tuna. We also have some great areas to go bottom fishing for amberjack, grouper and snapper.

Our crew is friendly and our charters are action packed. Even if you have never fished, we'll explain how everything works and assist you as much or as little as you need.

Captain Skip Rising is a retired police officer from Agawam, Massachusetts. He was a part-time charter boat captain fishing the waters around Long Island, Block Island, and Cape Cod.

Dottie is a retired schoolbus driver and they are both trained EMT's. They have been fishing for a living in the waters off South Florida for more than 20 years. You'll be in good hands when you board the Skip Dot.
