Since 1974, weve been hosting international guests who want to escape to our stunningly beautiful forest & fjord wilderness, which provides a wide variety of activities. We are in the heart of a coastal state park so get around via comfortable cabin-cruisers and, on foot, through the virgin Spruce forest. Theres outstanding fresh/saltwater fishing, varied & abundant land/marine wildlife viewing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, beachcombing, clam-digging, sauna or you can just curl up with a book in front of the fireplace. See the Kodiak Brown Bear fishing, the Humpback or Orca whales breaching, salmon jumping, sea-otter cracking clams with rocks or the Bald Eagle conventions in our treetops.
Hearty local cuisine is served family-style in the main lodge with a robust onboard lunch, for a casual yet uninterrupted active day with Mother Nature. Boats include fast, comfortable cabin-cruisers, husky sea-skiffs and kayaks.
Elegantly rustic spacious log guest cabins with constant electricity & indoor plumbing are some of the nicest accommodations in bush-Alaska. Included: superb local cuisine, boat travel with USCG licensed guides, all fishing gear/lures (spinning/fly/deep-sea), fish cleaning/freezing with option vacuum-sealing, rain gear & hip-boots, kayaking, hiking, beachcombing, wildlife photography and sauna. On rare occasions when guests are weathered-in, in our corner-of-paradise, half-rates are charged.
